Reccomend me tires to replace stock 17" 05 GT Pirellis

2 of my stock 17" 05 GT Pirelli tires are getting bald.

I'm not really happy with the stock tire performance.

Can you reccomend tires that willl fit my stock rims w/o changing the overall diameter?

I don't want to spend a lot either.

Thanks.

Look into the Goodyear F1 All Seasons. They have gotten great reviews on www.tirerack.com

KDW-2s are an excellent choice. However, they don't make a tire which is the same OD as the OEM tire in a 17". That's why I suggested the KDWS.

Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S are awesome and affordable. Way better traction is the rain, and better traction when dry. Bought them for my 03 Mach 1 when it was time for new rubber and will be buying them for my 07 GT when it's time.

Thx for the replies guys.

I'll be deciding fairly soon.

1 tire is almost tottally bald, and another tire still has a little bit of tread on it and the other 2 tires are good for another 10K I would think,

The stock Pirellis are ultra high performance all season tires. They perform quite well compared to some of the other choices out there.

No. The stock 17" Pirellis are PZero's, but are nothing like the far superior PZero Nero M+S tires that I mentioned above. Similar name, but worlds apart!!!

Well then I am not sure what you are talking about. My car came stock with the following tires:
Pirelli PZero Nero 235/55/ZR17 Y98 M + S

I have the same PZero Nero M + S on my 18" Boyd rims also in 285/40/ZR18 and 255/45/ZR18

The aftermarket Pirellis are the same model as the stock Pirellis.

Correct, stock tires are Pirelli PZero Nero M+S 235/55/ZR17 Y98.

This is the PZero Nero that I'm referring to. Again, great performance tire, wet or dry, and worlds better than the stock crappy Pirellis that the factory uses...

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....del=PZero+Nero

Hope this clarifies which tire I've been referring to.

You're right, I mistakenly said M+S when I meant the summer version which is a ZR tire simply called PZero Nero. Although, I'm in the Northwest and it rains a LOT here and these "summer" tires work awesome in the rain - even in standing water!
