rear axle whine and griding during deceleration are TSB's from Ford, I just had the rear axle whine repair, I'd look into your noise during deceleration, check the TSB and make sure it sounds likes the TSB...

Some 2005 Mustang vehicles built through 11/15/2004 may exhibit an axle whine noise.
ACTION:
