Rear tires....what to do....

getting some new wheels and tires for the rear, and I want as wide as I can fit. I am planning on bullit wheels but havent found any 18X10.5 (anybody who knows where to get them on the board?) I would like to go with 18x10 or 18x10.5 with a +45 offset and wide 285, 295, 305 or 315 on the back with an aspect ratio to match a 255 45 18 on the front.

anybody have solid advice on this, pictures are a huge help too. are 315's way too much?

I think 315's are the maximum width you can fit without modification. A 315/30/18 would probably be a pretty close match to the 255/45's in the front.

An exact match (27inch) is the 245/55/18 frt and 185/40/18 rear. Same combo as the GT500. Check out oewheelconcepts.com for your wheel size inquiry. I got the GT500 wheels in chrome 18x9 and 18x10. I am going with the 255/45/18 and 285/40/18 combo. Check out your tire size combo at bigcustomwheels.com. Go to the size chart and you will be able mix/match all combos and get the info needed to make a solid choice.

I just put new tires and wheels on a week and half ago. 18x9.5 285/40/18 in the rear and 255/40/18 in the front. The maximum width in the rear is 285, I would have gone wider if I could. I do believe the max off set is 42mm in the rear. 315 might need stick out from under the fender to keep them from rubbing on the inside of the fender. A local custom shop can help you work through this.
