Fishing line tied between two "handles". Consistent, steady sawing action will go right through the adhesive. Follow-up with solvent to remove any glue that remains or heat with hair drier or heat gun on low setting and rub it with your finger. It will "ball" up and come off.

I heated the the tape with a hair dryer after the boltes were removed and it lifted right off, not much force needed. Then just like stated before heated the leftover tape and it came right off the hood.

Hair dryer, a little force, and an exacto blade to slice thru a little of the tape, no problem. Goo gone or Goof Off, the one safe for paint, worked well getting all the adhesive off.

Exacto Knives and body paint don't play well together.

Use braided fishing line, as stated above, like Spiderwire and saw through it. I didn't use heat on the left over glue and it took quite a bit of cleaning to remove the remains.
