rear shock tower brace?

rear shock tower brace?

has anyone installed this brace and is it worth it??? also was thinking of somehow making my own.. any opinions?? thanks

there are some threads on this, but the general consensus is it looks good but unless you are road racing the car you will not notice a difference in handling.

Maybe one of the members who have this installed will chime in.

Complete waste of money. There is no force applied at the top of the shock tower that could possibly be any deflection of the stock body there. Hell the shocks are mounted in rubber how can that silly bar do anything except make your wallet lighter.

If I have less money won't I be faster? I thought weight reduction was good for cars?

Wrong, I have a rear shock bar on my 500 and it does help with body roll.
