Ran at the track tonight.
Well, With my new MT ET DRAG DOT,S and Offroad pipe from MAK, I made many passes tonight.Best ET was 13.0@105.75 with 1.85 60 ft.Could not get that 12,9 I wanted, I was greedy and did not let the car cool down between runs.Track was dead so you could just keep going back out.
I also have a slight bog off the line.cant tell if its the nock censor, engine or tires. It would launch good but then bog slightly, then come right back to life. Was exquisite feeling release of liquid waste product me off.

Great times mike. What rpm are you leaving at? What's the temperature up there? It was in the 90's here today and the track was pretty horrible for hooking. I usually leave at 6000, but had to back it down to 5000. I was just spinning the tires. My best tonight was 12.83@106.5-1.79-60'. I just can't get my 60' in to the 1.6's. It's just too hot right now. You'll get into the 12's before long. What are you shifting at and are you powershifting?

You just have to find that sweet spot between bogging and breaking loose. I can't wait for it to cool off! You're going through the traps at an ideal rpm. What is your rev lim set at? I powershift at 6400 with my rev lim set at 7000. I've tried shifting at 6600, but lost ET.

I'm going through the traps at 6700 rpm in 4th. I forget if I shifted into 4th with the 4.10's. I know I did with the 4.30's and was going through the traps at like 5000 rpm. I run with the dial-ins and they usually sweep the track after all the "run what you brung" street cars go. They do carry a lot of the water up to the staging area. Aggravating!
Great job, and just for the record you do not have to get a different gear to get into the 12's. The bog off the line is not as bad if you can leave at 5500 RPM, if you have an X-cal 2 you can preset this in the 2 step rev limiter!
I also remembered that your time could be due to the lack of cars at the track that trip. Cars hook better when there is a better prepared track especially if there are more cars with slicks (laying down fresh rubber) and fewer cars with street tires (stripping up the newly layed rubber). At Tulsa I lost almost a 10th of a second due to this, after the track was prepped following someones engine failure I was right back on.
