I have the Fluidyne. Construction looks 100x better than stock, and being larger, should out perform the stocker as well.

No real world tests yet, getting my car back from the shop soon.

Check out the Mishimoto brand aluminum radiator. I know, the name sounds like it belongs in a ricer, but it's a nice unit. It's manufactured in the U.S.A (California) and has the same technical specs as a Fluidyne, Afco, Granatelli. However, Iv'e seen the Mishimoto unit priced as low as $225-250 by vendors like American Muscle and Stage 3 Motorsports. That's up to 40-50% cheaper than a Fluidyne, Afco or Granatelli! I had a long phone conversation with a rep at their corporate headquarters in Delaware, and he said they are aggresively trying to compete with established manufacturers of aftermarket aluminum radiators, hence the much lower price. I'll be pulling the trigger on one soon, and use the money I save on a Steeda lightweight radiator support.

I've seen those on American Muscle and at least one other place. I think it was $199 as compared to $499 for Afco and even $599 for Fluidyne. It looked good on internet, but just like you said the name sacred me off a bit. I'm thinking I'll be going FI by end of year and would lik to do radiator at same time while I'm in there.

I put a Mishimoto in last month. *Very* nice quality and a direct copy of the Fluidyne. Welcome to the global marketplace. After reading about some pinhole leak issues with Fluidynes from past years, I figured for $250 shipped I'll give the Mishimoto a shot--worst case it leaks like the more expensive ones.

Easy installation, perfect fit, and more importantly, it has dropped my on-track coolant temps. As for the Mishimoto plaque on top of it (the only visible branding), a piece of black electrical tape took care of that.

I have an LFP aluminum radiator. The aluminum will disipate heat much more efficiently not to mention the increased capacity, double row, and more cooling fins.

Mishimoto here, got it on ebay, under $200 shipped! Love the quality for a fraction of the price. Perfect install.
