Well I'm not going to lie this wasn't at a track. It was in the wee hours of the morning on a desolate and deserted street. Pretty secluded, didn't see another car for a mile or so. We lined up 2 or 3 times at the light. I won 2 out of 3 times. The time I lost he rolled forward a bit and said it didn't count. He was always spinning badly and I launched almost perfect. He's only had his car for 4 or 5 days, so the victory is short lived. Once he learns how to launch he should be able to beat me. I didn't win by a lot anyways, he was stuck at the back of my front fender at around 100. Races like these are the most fun, it's completely based on driver skill.
Street racing is stupid, I don't advise anyone ever attempt it.

Raced a srt-10 at 12:00 in the afternoon today. I couldn't help it, the guy was lookin at me revin his engine. Those truck's are fast , but not fast enough Everywhere I go people try to race, I think it's probably because my license plate say's SMOKEU

The auto will still nail him on the 2-3 shift.

The diesel trucks are the ones that will have us for breakfast.
Saw on TV yesterday where a Gale Banks motor was making 1000 FT of torque without propane or nitrous injection.

An srt-10 is not that fast on the initial launch. Due to it's mass, it gets off the line slow and then gets up to speed quickly. Around third gear is my observation.
