I am thinking I would like to do an O/R H pipe with some LT's and the FRPP exhaust. Is there any advantage (sound/power) to buying say the JBA o/r H over just cutting up the stock one? If I dont like the sound I would just buy a H with high flow cats that match up to the LT's and be done with it. Just trying to spend my mod money wisely

I kind of wrestled with a similar thought, but in the end I decided to go with a LT/catted X combo, and save my stock exhaust components intact... just in case I ever needed them. So the stock manifold, cats and H will be stored in my garage.

Yeah see I dont really need them unless I decided to go back to stock one day to sell the car. Since thats not going to happen and they really dont give a darn here about if you have cats or not I dont mind thinking about chopping up the stocker. Unless an aftermarket o/r H is just flat out better in sound and or power....

How much is just the o/r H from jba?
