Questions on Brenspeed's Stage 1&2 brake kits
Has anyone installed the Stage 2 brake kit from Brenspeed? If yes, how big is the improvement?
Also, would the Stage 1 kit (Hawk HPS pads + steel brake lines) already provide significant improvement, considering it's meant for the stock rotors?
Here's Brenspeed's ad for the Stage 2 kit:

I have the stage 2 package and highly recommend it. It's an excellent kit for the price. You'll spend 3-4X the money to get anything better.Although the Motul fluid is a very good track fluid, it is very hydroscopic, so I opted for ATE fluid instead.
What the heck does hydroscopic mean?
That's why I'd go for the slotted rotors.
personal experience I know of no cons for either style of rotor!.. I do think with drilled you tend to get best of both design functions, matter and heat dispersement!
depends on how they are drilled wether they are proned to cracking. I have had both styles and I prefer the drilled models myself. I dont have them on the mustang yet, but I have been looking at rotorpros.xxx
and I also recieved a pm and was told where to get those same rotorpros for a bunch cheaper as well. If you are interested in some drilled and possibly colored rotors contact rotorpros. good luck

Drilled rotors are fine for the street but you do not want them for the track (road coarse) and the constant expansion and contraction may cause cracking between the drilled out sections due to the heat. Slotted is a better way to go.
