Question for Whipple Guys and Predator tuner.

Hey guys,

I feel kinda dumb asking this question, but I'd rather feel dumb than DO something dumb!

Adam at ST Motors gave me 3 custom Predator tunes (91 regular, 91 aggressive, race) for my Whipple. I've been using the "91 regular" tune til now, but I'm feeling bold and want to install the "91 aggressive" tune now. Do I need to reload the factory tune (original backup) first, and then load the "91 aggressive"? Or can I just load the "91 aggressive" and overwrite the existing tune?

Input appreciated. Thanks!

Nah, you shouldnt have to, the tuner doesnt base any of its functions off of the base tune, it just does it by itself.

I would imagine his fear is that he'll overwrite the "stock" tune stored in the Predator when he loads the new tune and be unable return it to stock if necessary.

The factory stock tune will stay in there, regardless of how many times you flash other tunes into the PCM.

Plus, I can't imagine a scenario where the factory stock tune would work too well with a Whipple on there anyway.
