Question on H&R Comp Springs

Question on H&R Comp Springs
Hello all,
It’s time to swap the springs after having the GT for 6 months now. I was planning on the H&R comp springs but would like some feedback from anyone using them. I read somewhere that Steeda springs are made by H&R, don’t remember where though. I could go with the Steeda comp but if there're the same, the H&R's are about $100 cheaper.
I'm going to use D-Spec and MM camber plates. Just ordered the J&M LCA and can't decide on what upper to get yet. Decisions, decisions.
Thanks,
Wayne

I use the H&R Supersports and love them. Lowered the car with the best stance that Ive seen so far from other spring setups IMO and still a smooth enough ride. Stiffer and a tad bit rougher than stock but youll get that no matter what when u lower the car. H&Rs are great springs

I just called H&R to get the spring rates for the Comp springs. I was told they can't release that info. What's the big secret? No luck in getting wire diameter, active coils or diameter. I guess they thought I worked for Eibach!

Do you mean their "race" springs? H&R is weird about their rates. Definately need to find someone who has them to get the wire dimensions to calc the rates. Knowing the rates for the sn95's, I would guess the race springs will be around 225-250F and 200R.

Sorry I meant H&R race. I had Steeda Competition Springs on my mind when I was typing that. I found rates for both H&R and Steeda for sn95's, nothing for s197's. I did a little checking and everyone that got Steeda comps was happy. Looks like I'll be going with Steeda, I'll just paint them red...
