Question about installing hurst shifter

Ive got a hurst shifter on the way and yes I have read all the install guides, but I have a question . I read something about people installing extra bushings or something and I cant find where I read that. What bushings, what do they do, and where do I get them?

I actually installed mine 2weekend ago.
I did not use any extra bushing just what came with the shifter and the take off parts required from the factory shifter. I have had no issues, no rattles, ect.

I think people were putting some extra bushing where the shifter arm attaches to the pivot. i think some were getting a rattle from this, could be wrong though.

i think steeda makes an accessory bushing for the stock shifter... i have the hurst and its great without any extras.

you shouldnt need anything for the hurst. its great all on its own.
