I think i found my new exhaust set up. I was going to go with the Roush cat-back but these are a good price and sound great. I think they will work well with my offroad H-pipe

I have to admit those sound pretty **** good!! What is the "DRONE" factor at cruise speed? I didn't hear any raspy crap or cackeling going on.

I wonder why exhaust manufactures have not designed a mid muffler setup for the S197... I know Pypes makes one but I'm talking about true muffler system. Pypes uses a glass pack type muffler. I realize there isn't much room for a current full size muffler...but wouldn't it be neat...lol

Here is a midmuffler flowmaster set-up. Of course it took some fabrication.

bracket kit?

just an fyi, these do stick out a bit farther unless you grind off the tab on the overaxle pipes. i did not (yet) but it's not horrible. they're about an inch out farther then i really prefer but it's not horrible.

Now here is a dumb question...hehe

If the mufflers were back..more closer to the rear axle...would that change the sound??

Yeah americanmuscle sells an optional bracket kit, apparently some folks are having issues due to the bracket not lining up with the oe hanger I'm still getting it though thanks for the vid!
