pull the trigger on pypes o/r h or wait until the SS comes out

I want to get the pypes o/r H but at the moment we all know it is aluminum, but according to Brenspeed SS versions are on the way,,, but according to them they have BEEN on the way for a while and they are not real sure when they will get them. what are the disadvantages of going with the alum version. I live in alabama so I am not sure how the weather will affect them down here according to rusting problems. and or how long they will actually last. Thanks for any suggestions

If you're in a dryer environment, and no salt on the roads in the winter time, the aluminized version will work fine for you. I've had my Pypes for over a year now (two winters) and it shows little wear, and we have plenty of snow, ice, and salt here in northern Indiana. There will be no performance gain/loss between the two.

dryer,, dry usually during the summer doughts but never any salt, ever if there may be any snow during the winter, they use sand and you are told do not drive basically..... lots of rain during the season changes though...would that matter, sorry for the stupid question just trying to get all the help I can before I make my decision

Well I'd probably go ahead with the normal version....... worse case, it will last you a couple of years atleast and only cost you $170.
