You could put 6:10s in there.... has no affect on the blower.

Mike,
When the '05 first came out, a few people were saying the .100 ring spacing would be a big problem. Thanks for providing good factual explanations and putting that worry to bed I look forward to seeing the results of your testing.

Have had the system on order since 14 Feb. They say they are shipping it out on Fri. I plan on installing it next week, I'll be sure to take lots of pics. My baseline on the dyno was 286.1. Looking for 450+ rwhp after the supercharger installation.

please keep us posted

If anyone has any questions on the procharger please feel free to ask. I helped with the design of the brackets, did the first magazine article and have had it on my car for months. It's a real nice kit and it installs very easily. Also, if anyone wants one, I can get them a deal!!!

Mike

better than 500hp. man that seems like a lot. the old 5.0 block was good for 500 but only just barely. would be great if this aluminium block and its internals proved to be as good or better.

how much boost you running right now? how many miles on the engine? how long before you hit 500hp at the fly?

man, i had already planned on the saleen charger. never have liked the way centris clutter up the engine bay. but i dont know that the difference in cost is justifiable.

Nope... I don't do that much anymore.... just a little here and there. I am however enjoying working on the 05 stuff. I can fit you in any time. Where are you from?

8psi now. Have 1500 miles on the blower... beating it up. The Procharger company car has around 10,000 now I believe. Im turning it up this week... We'll see how long it lasts.

One question I have is why is sean hyland motorsports advertising that it gives you 400rwhp when michael freedman dyno'd 445rwhp on a stock car? which # is more likely? Michael any comments? here is the link

Maybe Sean Hyland jumbled his info together and he's referring to the auto hp. Just a possibility.
