Thaaank you, I can now print this out and shove it in the face of the dealer who told me he had to recreate the problem before replacing the tank.

Why would I lie about fuel spraying all over me and why would I want to give my car up for a day if my fuel tank was perfectly fine?

I just called my dealer and they have to look into it and call me back.
I had an apt. to have them look at that and the popping noise on Tuesday, so ........we shall see!!

I hope it wont be an issue with them.

the popping noise, Ford has nothing to fix it with yet, they are aware of the popping coming from the upper strut bearing, but Ford is still working on it

ahhhh - 1st year model woes.......hopefully this will be it - fuel tank (I can live with it) and strut bearings popping - that I can't live with - is driving me nuts!! :bang:

I must admit though - it is kinda neat having the 1st one on the block
