I just installed the Mac's on my car and noticed that the driver side muffler rattles when I hit any bumps. I got under the car today and tightened the muffler down as much as I could, however the noise is still there. Both the hangers are positioned correctly. Anyone with an axleback run into this problem, and if so, what did you do to correct it?

FYI, the Mac's combined with the Pypes O/R h pipe sound bad hiney. This is the exact sound I was going for. I will try to get a video as soon as the weather gets better. Thanks for the input!

Check the hanger closest to the rear bumper. Mine sat about 1/4" away from the frame but hit when I went over bumps. You might have to adjust it a bit.

When I checked the muffler, I grabbed the tip and was able to twist the whole muffler by hand. Do you think that the brackets that came with the Mac's are junk? Maybe I should get different clamps.

Can you use the stock ones???? When I installed my Borla cat back system I used the stock clamps because I thought they fit better than the ones that came with the Borla kit.

That's a good idea. I'll have to check when I get home.

I had that problem with my flows. The whole muffler would rotate on the over axle pipe.

Take an impact wrench to it and you will solve all of your worries.

That's the exact problem I have. Thanks for reassuring me that it's an easy fix.
