I just installed a K&N air charger and I removed the HC trap and I am wondering what adjustments to make to air fuel ratio and timing to compensate for this on a Predator. I particularly want to know how much richer I should go. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Ryan, if you do a search there are several topics concerning this combination, but I will share with you what I know at this point, I have the K&N and the predator, diablo sport does not have a custom tune out for K&N yet, I am running the canned 87 oct tune and have had no trouble at all, I have contacted diablo sport, and requested a custom tune specifically for the K&N cai, as have many others, nothing to date from them but they say they are working on it...

To do it right go to a dyno !
I would add 2 clicks richer on the 4-7 power band!
Thats where i would guess it will be a littlr lean.
I have been to the dyno for hours and hours with this car!

Oh ya, I didnt mention the dyno, oops sorry, if you want to tune the car now, the canned 87 oct tune will work fine with the K&N w/o the hc trap..
