I am in the process of installing Powerslot rotors on my 06 GT Vert. Does anyone know if the the little clip on one of the lug studs needs to be reused or is this just there to keep the rotor in place while it travels down the assembly line? Thanks for your help!

No they do not. In fact, you will most likely destroy then in the process of removing then from the lug. They were installed at the factory to keep the rotors on the car before the calipers & wheels were installed.

rip em off and leave them, they can interfere with aftermarket wheels later too

Thanks, I could not imagine any other purpose for it other than on the assembly line.

Those are used as a seal to show they are original factory brakes

And also to keep the rotors from maybe falling off the car when its on the assembly line...... imagine one of them dropping from a raised up car onto your foot.....
