SCT Xcalibrator, underdrive pullies, HC trap out.
These were my first 2 runs ever, so I'm happy so far. Lots of wheel hop though.

Manual. Like I was saying, my wheels were spinning and hopping all the way into 3rd.

They were from last night. That's funny. Uh, Hello, McFly

what track was that from? I've ran at Gainesville a few times...use to live in Valdosta, GA.
----------
yeah, mine wheel hopped like crazy, or bogged off the line at first...took alot of getting use to, being a hydraulic clutch and 3-link rear suspension on a mustang
-felt like driving an older 6-speed camaro.

2005, the auto feels good. The 1-3 shifts fly up to 6000 rpm and drop to 5000 rpm without a lot of slop. The problem and thus less MPH then the manual is the 3rd to 4th gear change. It drops from 6000 to 4000 RPM. That is hard to recover from. It starts dead out of the hole then picks up good from 330' to 1/8th mile. But when that 4th gear shift hits, it's dead. Any others with auto's out there that have been on the track?

I went to the track on Jan 10th and ran a 13.911 at 101.40,,completely stock, even the carbon trap was there. My R/T was really bad 1.067, think I can reduce it and get mid 13s on next run. Also removed the carbon trap and curious to see how much that will help.

What exactly does E.T. stand for?
#18
Elapsed Time. Basically its how long it takes you to get to the 1/4 mile mark from the time you leave the starting line. As t69 said your reaction time has nothing to do with it. You could sit there for 5 seconds the timing mechanism will not start until you take off.
I will have timeslips as soon as spring hits and the tracks open

Elapsed Time. The timer doesn't START until you clear the staging lights. So you can have a BETTER ET than the guy in the other lane, and still lose the race. Imagine that the light goes green, and you do a 2-count before going. Your RT is going to be 2+ seconds, your ET could still be 13.6 or whatever.
