Please Help With Resonators Insert....

Whats up everyone? I have a problem with my MAC A/Bs. I love the sound but the drone is making me a lil dizzy while driving. Someone told me to install resonators(Race Mufflers)on and Im convinced that it will help, The problem is that I don't know where to install them. Does anyone know where to place them in? Thank you for all your help!

The $64,000 question...you might be forging new ground here, which means you might have to do some experimenting!!!

I'm about to do a before the over the axle pipe muffler instal this friday. From all the info I've gathered, as close to the H crossover as possible. This minimizes the amount of pipe from the engine to your resonators which is what creates trumpeting and drone... Thats what I think, your welcome to wait til Fri when I get my system up and going, I'll post pics and clips then!

Anywhere in the long stretch between the crossover (H or X) and the curve before they go over the axle. Also, I've read that if you stagger their placement by an inch or two, instead of lining them both up exactly side by side, that also helps disrupt the resonance.

That is an interesting idea, I wonder if this could be a cure to the drone issue so many of us have problems with.

Dynomat inside the interior on the floor and inside the trunk would help, i wouldnt recommend on the under side. Dynomat is fairly cheap and will probably not cure the problem entirely but make the problem better but would involve some work of pulling up the carpet and removing the seats.
