I eventually plan on purchasing a Vortech. Should I go short tube or long tube headers? Thanks.

I'm planning on the same, which model Vortech are you going with, the 420hp version? I was recommended the shorty headers, but I'm sure someone else will chime in.

I'm going to adding a procharger and I'm starting to research all the options out there.

well I can tell you I just installed my vortech NON aftercooled kit yesterday and put down 418 at the tire w/ 387 rwt..I have the stock manifolds on the car and vortech advised me NOT to change out to shorties due to the lack of performance they produce over the stock manifolds and the fact the cast stock manifolds will gold up better with the blower. The car is at the Shelby show this weekend at the california speedway so I will post some pics soon..oh, also on the 80 mi. hwy drive to the event to drop the car off, my mileage was 26.5!..My previous best at 70mph was 24ish...IT IS A FUNNNNNN CAR NOW

Better!...I drove Exactly the same route i normally take to work everyday to drop the car off at the show and drove in the same manner.I kept my foot out of it and just cruised along at 70 and it went up!..
