Pinion Flange Nut?

Could someone tell me what size the pinion flange nut is? I would like to make sure I have the correct size tools before I start my project. I believe it is a 22mm on my Foxbody but haven't crawled under this one yet to check.

Also will be changing out the pinion flange along with the driveshaft, would anyone happen to know what the torque is on the pinion nut?

Thanks

Hey Bobby,
I am in the process of trying to pull my pinion flange today. The nut is in fact 27mm. It just happens to be exactly 1 1/16. I am using an 1 1/16 six point socket and it fits great. The pinion nut torques to 120-150 ft/lbs. However, getting the nut off is proving to be a female dog. I used a air impact and breaker bar today and no luck. I will be cutting a cheater bar at work today plus I am soaking it in PB Blaster. I also think that nut has loctite on it from the factory. Good luck on yours!

Bobby,
I edited my post above. It really is 27mm and you can use the 1 1/16th socket.
