Pinion Angle?
I will be putting on some adjustable lower control arms and the Powerhouse aluminum drive shaft this weekend and need some help on setting the pinion angle. I have an angle finder but I am not sure of the correct process. If one of you gurus could walk me through the process I would really appreciate it.

The best is on a drive-on car lift. If not, the car needs to be on level surface on jack stands. Measure the angle of pinion gear, coming out of the differential. Typically can be done by measuring the yoke. You won't be accurate measuring on the differential. It'll look like the bottom is a great place to measure from, but it's not parallel with the pinion gear.
Then get an angle off of the driveshaft. The difference between the 2 angles is your pinion angle. You want anywhere from -3 to -1. I'm set at -3. Some guys have different opinions for the setting. -3 works for me!
