I like them real well. They have really good grip, and they give you a little better feel over the rubber covers. They are kind of a PIA to install. I could only line up 3 screws on the brake/clutch pedals, but they are on good and solid.

Justin, the car looks AWESOME! I think along with red and white stripes, black with white stripes is the best combo. I envy you! I didnt see if anyone asked but, got any dimension numbers for those stripes?

Justin - cool your jets. The car looks great, but it's not a GT500. It's kinda like the ricers putting the BMW badges on their Honda Civics. IMO it just ain't right. Next time you see CS, ask him to but your GT500 in the registry, and tell him JJ said hi.
Don't say my car look's great, then compare it to ricer crap. Don't even waste the time typing. I don't give a d#m about a registry!! I'm not building my car for a "registry", I'm building my car to enjoy, race, and smoke guy's like you with it. My car is a GT500 and I hope it burns you up! Narrow minded people like you, are the ones that discurage people from geting into or enjoying the sport of Mustang's. Now with some good advise from my fellow "Mustang Enthusiast's" I will no longer fuel the fire that is your stupidity. :bang:

P.S. The next time you talk to "CS" tell him thank you for building such a great car to inspire FUTURE generations of MUSTANG ENTHUSIAST'S B)

Rock On!! [/b][/quote]
Now that's not very fair. I have too agree that i am torn a little. for years i have ripped on ricers for making every car ever made an r-type. so when i see you making your car a gt500 i can't help but feel like a hipocrit (no idea how to spell that) saying i like yours, which i do. I love the stripes, pins, interior accents and all the other stuff, but i see where he is coming from. I am glad however that you are happy and agree that your car is for you to enjoy, so do anything and everything you want. i plan on making mine look very much like a mach 1. but i won't put the mach 1 label anywhere on the car because it isn't a mach 1. There is a difference in the fact that there isn't a 05 gt500 out right now that you are copying so you badging it like a 68 is like you said, more of a salute that anything. Just don't put gt500 type-r on there please.

Well I guess I will need to remove my GT350 rocker stripes now......NOT! Personally I wouldn't put snakes on mine well, because I see too many V6's driving around here with them so I start to get annoyed, but Justin, I completely agree with you in that fact that these are our own cars and we mod them the way we want to mod them. If someone else doesn't like it, fine, then they won't do it to their car. I say have fun and who cares what others think (well if it is a good comment then go for it )

Are you having any problems with the hood tie-downs rubbing the front lip of the hood? I seem to remember seeing several cars at shows that had small scratches or even a chip where the wire rubbed the paint.

I'm waiting on JMS products to make my quater window scoops. They will be modeled after the 68 GT500's scoop's and have nice clean lines that don't exceed the window's edges. Stay tuned.... Coming soon....

Awesome car Justin...I was wondering if you could give me some advice on your Steeda pedals. I ordered them with the new Triax and figured that would be the the easier of the two installs, not at all. After removing the rubber pedal covers there really isn't much material to work with. I noticed you said you only got three screws in, did you have to bend the pedals some? i could get two of the four holes lined up but ended up calling it quits. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks and again your car looks beautiful!!!!

VegasJay, very nice '05. I would have either the GT or Cobra emblem on the side, not both. You never seen a factory Mustang with both. But it's your vehicle and if you want them there, then so be it. But it is a very nice ride and I'm sure it'll get even better as you get more mods on it.
