Is a Paxton novi 2200 supercharger worth the money?

I am thinking about buying a Paxton Novi 2200 for my 06 GT. I was wondering if I could get any opinions or reviews of people who have this supercharger. Thanks!

No in depth review from first hand experience, but I've seen many 05-09 GTs with a 2200 and they perform very well! I had a Vortech system and at times regretted not getting the 2200. Call Brenspeed, they have installed many of these systems for years now. www.brenspeed.com

Isnt Vortech and Paxton basically the same? AM had a wicked deal on the HO intercooled Vortech (polished) for about $3750 only! Regular price is almost $5500. Sale is over now though.....I came really really close to buying it.....until I realized what I really want is a twin screw charger.

Vortech is the younger sister company or Paxton. Paxton has been around for years, and a Paxton supercharger is what Carol Shelby used on his GT 350. So therefore I'm going to stay with the heritage and get a Paxton.

What I used was a Vortech V2 s-trim blower and a Paxton air-to-air intercooler, because it's my opinion that an air-to-air unit is better for street driving. I commented about preferring the 2200 head unit because compared to the Vortech V2 or even newer V3 the 2200 is a bigger, more efficient blower I believe.

Does a bear S**T in the woods? It's definently a good system!

Has anyone had any experience with the Novi 1200 nonintercooled?

Not with the Paxton 1200 but when I started with the Vortech V2 system, it was the base system with no cooler. Best power was around 440hp with torque around 370 I believe. Then I added the Paxton air-to-air cooler and got much better performance consistently.
