Mike...Don't know if it's fully installed by the pics, but how does the new combo sound? You and I both had a MAK OR/Magnaflows and I am considering Hookers, so I need a full report!

deeper and more growl than the X-pipe u have

Mike had the same setup as you: C&L Intake, MAK Offroad X-pipe, Magnaflow Axle-back and I know exactly what your car sounds like.

See the problem with that setup and you've probably heard it is that it sounds "like a pickup" under partial throttle. It's only present in the lower rpms, maybe 1,500-2,750. I've had a bunch of friends tell me that from outside the car. They do say it sounds great when you get on it. I am trying to decide what product to buy and was thinking of an H or Hookers/X. Maybe Mike can chime in and tell me his thought.

I actually like your combo but it sounds like a Corvette and not a mustang. Too raspy.

I'll wait to see what the hookers sound like.

Did you have any problem with the header bolts by the motor mounts? How did you go about getting them in. Mine are in but I don't think they are as tight as they should be.

Install Tips.For the Supercomp Headers.
Do one side at a time.Take out motor mount and leave other side in.Jack Engine up slightly and take out the Motor mount and bracket.makes life simple.Passenger side is easy.Driver side is a little more tricky.Undo Steering shaft.I had to take out both bolts to get it undone.Directions dont mention that the Oil Dipstick has to come out also. Dont tighten bolts untill all are in.I also removed battery and tray for easy access to everything on that side.people say you can undo the green O2 censors without battery out but,Much easier when its out. Most Bolts are 13 and 15mm.Factory manifold nuts are 13 and the studs are 5.
They look awesome.
