If there's an increase in MPG, that'll help more than the trap.

Anybody got an actual picture of where this thing is pulled from?
Isn't it in the intake snorkel?

Here's the info on the HC trap. Worth 4-7 hp on the dyno--check out this thread

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...7872&hl=houston

These two threads show pictures and how to's.

It is right after the airfilter box. Unscrew the worm clamp and there it is. Takes a little back and forth wiggling to get it out, but it was easy. Took a couple of minutes all together.

Keep it handy around inspection time. I have emmision inspections and will replace it during that time.

hahahahaha, that is funny. No way could that "actually" fall off since it takes a lot of prying to pull that out of the air intake hose. Somehow though mine fell of a few weeks ago after looking in the Mods section and finding out what it was. I now have more HP and better gas mileage. Hopefully I can find a few more parts like that.

So, do you want 3-4 more horsepower now, or decent air quality so your children can drive a Mustang 10 years from now?
that's exactly what I was thinking

That's not a good question to ask a bunch of mustang fans who are horsepower junkies......

of course the answer if power, sound, and speed. We can worry about the environment later!!

I picked my car up last night. Checked the intake hose for the HC trap, and my hose is empty from the air box to the throttle bodies. Looks like mine was left out from the factory...

There's no HC trap on the V6.
