What material is the C&L intake, and could it be painted to match the body?

Jason - I think it is aluminum. I would be reluctant to paint it.

How about ceramic coating (e.g. Jet-Hot)? Will aluminum take a ceramic coating?

How about the blue gasket looking things on the C&L... anyone know of a way to swap those out for red ones?

The C&L intake tube is already painted silver. Get a can of spray paint and have at it!

Instead of asking here, contact C&L. They are a real friendly bunch of people. I talked with the owner (in person a few weeks ago), and he is open to helping us with any questions, problems, etc.

If it were me, I would have it stripped and powder coated. The powder coating will also add thermol insulation....
