Ordered Some Stuff Today!

Spent more money today!

1. Rotorpros drilled/slotted rotors
2. Hawk HPS pads
3. Earl's stainless brake lines

Never have liked the brakes on my car and now maybe when I get it back over to Thunderhill the brakes won't fade as bad.

Sounds pretty cool- congrats!

I almost bit on a kit from Brenspeed a couple weeks ago- Brent offered me a heck of a deal but since I don't "need" brakes yet, I passed on it. Let us know how it turns out!

BTW, got that shifter installed yet??

Tell us how you like the Hawks pads. I just used the stock pads since they were almost new when I bought the Rotorpros. I barely have any brake dust at all.

Did you get them zinc coated? or powdercoated like asked above?

Got zinc coated rotors and debated a while on weather to get the HPS or the HP+. I think for the street the HPS will be better and they shouldn't have as much dust.

Got some killer deals on the stuff. I did some shopping and got the Rotorpros for $273, Earl's brake lines for $125 and the Hawk pads for $145 all including shipping. Pretty good deal for $543 I believe.

Tom - Shifter is going in tomorrow

That's expensive for the lines. A local shop sells then for 89 dollars.

Hey Rich,

When will you have the front brake upgrade done? I am anxious to hear how you like it.

Haha, think again. Wheels get 3x+ dustier than stocks.
You will like the upgrade tho. I did the HPS, steel lines and AFE brake fluid.

I wanted to get the rotorpros myself, but the stock rotors held up good on the road course. Ill wait till they are toasted.
Seen the full set of rotorpros on ebay for $270 shipped.

Hehe, understand tho that was after a full day of road course racing.

Just keep a good coat of wax on the backside and all. Take them off and clean them real good twice a year.
you can just use the spray detailer on them every couple days.
Another reason I didnt go painted calipers because the HPS pads are just going to make them look nasty.
