He said he wanted shorty headers and that's what this guy has listed. I'm sure he know's what he needs for this kit. He has to get rid of his long tubes and said he wanted shorty's.
I see, well depending on the kit they should be custom headers

This particular kit as well as the Powerhouse kit are designed to be a direct bolt in for stock 05 motors, only upgrading a tuner/injectors/MAF tube/oil supply and return lines. Mark said the coated shorties will flow better producing better rwhp numbers when used in place of cast iron manifolds. I have been looking to get ahold of you concerniing your choice of turbos and if you are installing yourself. I read through some of your previous posts and found the info I needed, just PM me if you get started and I will let you know how our install goes.

Ask for Mike. I just oredered the control arm relocation brackets he is using and spoke to him about his turbo kit, he posts over here often so he might reply himself but he told me and 169Stang that his kit is due out for release in January. If you are interested in the kit he has and can go to PA then call him up, he recently was asking if I could go there for an install at his shop. It is worth a try to be able to purchase one of the first kits. I unfortunately had to go with one of my wife's impulse buy thougts and need more time to install the kit and have tuning issues resolved with hopefully the addition of a new short block prior to the next season. January is just a little to far away for us to get started.

nice, so I talked with my friend at the magazine and the latest he said was that the turbo kit should be done very soon but instead of being a twin turbo it will be a single turbo, I have to see what thats about cause i want twins. He is also developing his own intake, not a CAI but the actual intake manifold.. more info to come as I find out what I can disclose.

your info says you have a turbo.... do you already have it?
z06ths is nice, the new z06 will be a challenge for us but the turbos should cure that.

The turbo is being shipped over the course of about 2 weeks, Mark from MMR has been removing it from a car that was shown a week or two ago in California. It hasn't been started/ran but at least I know it has been fitted to an 05 which should mean less tweaking and mods to do. I have our car up on stands now and have removed long tubes/h-pipe and the k-member, just waiting on parts now. Shorties should be here Tuesday and rest of the turbo kit by the end of the week.

As for the twins, I don't blame you, that would be sweet but in all practicality it seems that a single is able to spool up just as fast and deliver peak boost early, even with low boost numbers. I know that Mike from Powerhouse was running 11.5lbs of boost and was cutting low 1.50's in the 60ft department, on drag radials. Our car wouldn't do that with bias ply slicks and 125hp of N20 of the line. I think you will be happy with a single, less setup/maintenance, and the less chance something will go wrong not to mention cost of one less turbo.
