I just put the Off road H-Pipe from Brenspeed on my car this past weekend. I fired it up with just headers, and holy crap, believe me when I tell you that you can't drive that everyday. For one you'll go deaf, and second you could never have a conversation, and neither could anyone else within a half mile.

How come nobody has mentioned that it's not good to have the exhaust fumes venting under the car, possibly getting inside body panels and etc? That would be one of my main concern running open headers.

There is no way you can be serious. I will never beleive that.

This is America, right?
Environmentalists infiltrated our state government early on and ruined everything. They tried to force smog checks on pre-79 cars alittle while back, luckily that never passed.

They live in the People's Republic of Kalifornia (PRK for short). That government has been overstepping it's bounds for a LONG time. But hey! It's all in the name of the "People", so its all good! ! ! Sigh.

electric cut-outs would be slick and I would have had no issues getting them from my parents on Christmas but I like my exhaust system as is. I really dont care if it wakes the dead on a cold start up, I just try not to do it at night anymore.

I would keep mine like clevelands, except I leave at 5:45 every morning... and the wake the dead start up just wont work for me. other than that, the turndowns helped the trumpets and made it liveable. Too bad I have to leave early.
