One last question about skipping the mufflers

I guess I will try to answer the best I can with only seat of the pants experience. I had done my Poor Mans CAI first which included removing the HC trap & I felt a difference.
I wasn't happy with the stock exhaust sound & looks so I did the muffler delete mod. After that mod the car felt stronger mid range to red line. Plus I got the looks & sound that I wanted & a mpg increase.
So basically with these 2 mods I fell that the car has been uncorked & there is no engine light issues.

hey jay what part of vegas do you live in? i live in henderson we should meet up some time i cant to see your car in person. I want to see a dyno of before and after the muffler delete cuz i am doing this myself. Howdoes id sound alot louder than stock?

oh it is much louder than stock but in an awesome sounding way!..it purrrrrss on the hwy and downright breaks necks from people turning their heads when I pass by under accel...You can control alot of the sound with the throttle or changing of the gears in case the POLICE roll up with the sound - o - meter

When I took the mufflers off of my 97 GT it turned a lot of heads under WOT and several people said it was the best exhaust they heard....however, the drone got on my nerves after 6 months and the mufflers went back on
