Question Ok, which T handle for the Hurst shifter

I got the hurst shifter with the white ball in my car. I want to go with the T handle ****. But which one do I order?

3/8 - 16

12mm / 1.75

Thanks

I ordered the metal t-handle when I ordered my Hurst shifter, because I had something similar in my car back in the 70s. But while it looked cool, I found the feel in my hand weird when shifting at the drag strip. So I pulled it off and replaced it with the white ball that came in the box.

Oh, note that it got REAL hot in the summer, and freezing cold in the winter!

The white ball rocks! Get ready for aluminum shifter hell in the summer. You also have to completey re-learn how you shift because of the shape. You'll probably find yourself holding under then shifter and using the shaft.

12mmx1.75 is the thread size for 06+ (i think some 05's used a different thread pattern and some used the 12mm one)

I have the Hurst handle on my car as well. I had the T shifter on it originally. It looked cool but was problematic shifting at the strip. I went to a white ball and have had no further issues.

I bought my Hurst handle from Summit. Don't know if they carry them for the 05-07s or not. Would be worth a look.

I too tried the t-handle, just didnt feel right to me.

But to each his own, re-tapped my pool ball and installed it.
