Can anybody with an offroad pipe tell me how much louder it makes the exhaust and what it does to the sound (trumpets). Also, vid's would be awesome
Check out TacoBill's vid's. He's got the same mufflers as you. I have an O/R H and Flowmaster axle back myself. I have to say it's way louder with an O/R H but only at wot. At cruising speeds I can't even tell it's there. I've had it for a week now and I love it. BTW this is my daily driver. Video clips don't do the pype justice. You have to hear it in person. The camera mics can't handle the sound.

well i have the flowmasters with the pypes x. people say the h sounds better which i probably agree on. at midrange RPM's the trumpet is unbareable for my taste. i dont think my setup sounds good which is why im going with slp loudmouths and a bassani mid. anyway the loudness factor....its very loud at WOT. basically its freakin loud. it screams. but im not happy with the sound of my x pipe.

Thank's for the info guy's
Definately check out TacoBill's videos, he did a great job documenting his install, as well as shooting some pretty cool vids. You can also check out a thread I started here with some pics and videos of my FRPP/Stingers with an O/R H-pipe with resonators, without the resonators, it is definately louder along with trumpets, but some don't seem to mind them.

well... ive got the o/r H and slps
very f'in loud....trumpets were a problem, so i got resanoators welded on and now it sounds awesome. Now where the trumpets used to be (2000 or so RPMs) it just grumbles...and at wot still screams! hahah

I've had both Bassani and Corsa exhausts and ran them both with the factory mid H and the offroad H. Both times, the offroad H made the car much, much louder. I sold the Bassanis and stayed with the Corsas.
You would not believe the diffrence until you hear it. Idle is noticeably louder, mid-range is louder, and WOT just screams. The Corsas all but eliminate the trumpeting in the 2500rpm range- both the Bassani and factory mufflers trumpeted BAD right there- I couldn't stand it.

Here are a couple of vids of my car, showing off the sound of the Pypes O/R H and FRPP Stingers with and without resonators.

I added the resonators because I, like everyone else, was sick of the trumpeting. The addition of the resonators eliminated the trumpets and now has a deep loud grumble. And now that my FRPP Stingers are broken it, the car just got louder.
I welded the resonators on the catback pipes just after the bracket that joins the O/R H.
