I got the Offroad H pipe (which is sweet) with stock mufflers. It sounds good but I want it louder than that. I've already tried the SLP route and sounded awesome except for the famous "Trumpeting" sound. Other than that it had to be the best exhuast I have ever heard. Anyway, I've heard the FRPP/Borlas with the stock Cats and it sounded sweet but I was wondering how it would sound with those on the back with the Offroad H. I love the looks of the 4" tip on the back of them and thought maybe someone out there has this setup! Thanks

So far, the best option to avoid trumpeting will be to use a chambered muffler. I currently have Magnaflows, which are louder than stock, but still not quite what I'm looking for. I'll be trying Bassanis next... I'm trading my LMs for a pair.

as for my part, i had the long tubes and hpipe and had the trumpeting sound. im guessing it will be the same with the off road hpipe. now your best bid is to try an off road prochamber. makes it sound loud and deep. dont remember hearing the trumpeting sound with that setup

I'll be in Pomona this weekend for the NHRA races. Maybe the weekend after that...
