When I installed mine, I did lower the trans a bit with a floor jack and block of wood under it, but did not have to remove the driveshaft. Overall, it was a very easy and simple install. The stock one came out the bottom with little trouble once the trans was lowered down, and the MGW went in from above very easily. Great shifter and very well worth the money.

Yes they are $250. The website does not show the new shifter, new shifter handle & *****, or the new pricing.

The only place you can get MGW from is http://www.mgwltd.com/

I believe you have to call them to set up shipping outside the 48 states, assuming you haven't already tried.

How many times have you had to say That... It seems every time I look on this thread you are saying "They don't have the new stuff up on their site; they are still $250 blah blah blah..." You need to tell them to just update the SITE. I mean whats taking them so long.

Thanks
Only direct because of the pricing. Not enough profit margin in the shifters to distribute. I'm sure George will ship it to Europe.

LOL, I guess they don't need it. As far as I know MGW is a pretty small operation in the grand scheme of things.

When they say "drop the tranny", all they are saying is loosen the transmission crossmember bolts so the transmission drops down a little. I did it myself without dropping it down at all either. Not a big deal..

Retro Shifter Handle

I bought the new retro shifter handle and rally shift **** for my old MGW shifter. The handle has a much smaller adaptor block attached to it moving the handle forward. I like the new position and look!

Thanks! I bought the chrome trim from Blue Oval Industries. Several vendors sell them. They are made by Action Artistry. http://www.blueovalindustries.com/pr...p?pid=99013793
