Didn't see that listed on their website. Is the handle and ball an added expense?

Thumbs up

What is the stock thread pattern as I wanna keep my GP Ball....It's 12mm x 1.25 right?

I dont see the new one on their site. I think Barricade needs one of these.
I really like being able to adjust the height! Thats awesome...

Can I get that longer shaft without the ball?? Man that sentence sounds funny...

OK I pulled the trigger on the shifter today. Bye bye Pro5.0 but it has been a **** good shifter so I hope this is worth the bucks.

There's an installation guide on the web site, go to the 2005-2009 mustang section click on it and scroll down, there you'll find 4 videos, 1 dry run test,2 test runs and 1 installation. not sure if it's the one for new version. just watched it,very good info. Really like the short throw sift in the test videos. Looks like I'll be purchasing one of these shifters in the near future!

Got my MGW shifter today with the chrome handle and the rally ****. A work of art and I can't wait to get it installed.

Hi all, brand new member here, I just got my shifter today and if it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't have noticed that I saved $50 over the original price. Thanks George!

Anyway the real reason I was checking the net was that the install video that came with my shifter is not the same as the one on the website. It seems obvious now that this is because of the difference between old and new. The main difference is that for the new shifter you have to drop the transmission a bit to get it in, likely due to the one piece design. Others differences are a lot less time on (almost none) installing the Dynamat and the re-use of the stock dust boot and insulation.

I am waiting for the weekend to get started on this, but like someone already said it's almost too pretty to hide under a car.

I don't think ANY shifter requires that including the new MGW. Maybe I'm wrong. I just talked to George the other day about my car and getting the new MGW. George told me the new design was easier to install and from looking at it, it sure looks like it. The rear mount on the new MGW slides back and forth on those rods and it helps with some torsional movement. I'd imagine that you could bolt the front up and than slide the rear mount to line and bolt it up to the body studs. Anyone want a MGW shifter? I want a new toy to play with! LOL

I did say a bit, really just loosening the rear support to drop the tranny about an inch or so, all the bolts stay in place. Overall, the installation does look easier than the old one on the MGW web site.

When you say rear support do you mean the transmission cross member? I'm going to be ordering the new one on Monday so I'll have to ask George about this.

Yea that is probably what it is called, I forgot to mention that there was no audio track on the install DVD (other than the rock'n musical intro) so I wasn't able to hear what was being described.
