I accually did run this combo and it sounded very good. I was running an offroad Mac Prochamber with GTA mufflers and switch back to the stockers. I really liked the sound but they were still butt ugly mufflers and tips. But they really sounded good and they still had no drone at all.

Yeah, me too. I ran the Pypes OR - H w/ the stockers and loved it.
I've reversed the setup and am now running the stock H w/ the Pypes MM system.
I'm still undecided, but I think I liked the OR-H w/ stock muffs better. I'd go that route and throw a set of nice tips on the stock muffs and be done with it.

I have to agree... I bought the pypes O/R H and the MM system. I got the O/R pipe but the MM system has been on back order since feb. So I installed the O/R pipe with my stock mufflers and I really like it. I am impressed with the sound. One question I have though is about gaskets between the manifold face and flange that bolts the mid pipe to the manifold. Is there a gasket supposed to be there? I think I have a slight leak at one of the flanges but not 100% sure. I haven't had time to mess with it. Its not my daily driver. All input is welcome!

You can paint the mufflers with high temp grill paint and install tips on them for a killer look. Definately worth it in my book. Also don't get the Ford Tips. Get a set from an exhaust manufacturer or a parts store especially if you are undecided if you like the look.

Love the sound. I always get compliments. Has a really old school sound (exactly what I was looking for). I'm happy with the stock mufflers (bright rolled exhaust tips ). Has a slight sleeper effect

I've gotta agree with Superfly. I've heard his setup in person and it sounds awesome. It's just a tad bit queiter than the stingers.

I ran this for a short time a few years ago and thought it sounded pretty decent. Like other people have said, just get different tips if you're using stock GT mufflers atleast.

I am currently running the Pypes O/R-H with the stock mufflers.
I love it. I had 4" magnaflow tips welded to the stock mufflers, looks great. Just need to realign the mufflers a tad

I have been undecided on what exhaust to get since I bought my stang but this set up is exactly what I have been wanting. I will be purchasing my OR/H sometime this week and am going to try to install myself. Love that sound, thanks again for the clip John! That sold me and Pypes should put that on there website!!!

If your wanting to keep that deep/throaty sound. Stick with either an off-road H-pipe, or MAC prochamber, but don't use an off road X-pipe. Otherwise your stockers will sound higher pitched than with an H-pipe, and will also sound more raspy/tinny. Plus you'll also notice increased trumpeting as well !

I just installed the OR/H and it is perfect. Louder than stock from 0-2,500 rpms but not drastically but after 2,500 it is an entire different beast. I love it. I will dare say this...I sounds like a 60-70 small block muscle car now.
It has made driving my car a totally new experience and worth way more than the $200 spent and 2 hr install. If you are considering this...stop considering and order from Brenspeed today. you wont regret it.

I'm going to try to do this next week. I found a tip I like alot at Advanced, it has a 3 inch inlet and 4 inch outlet, is about 8 inch long and and is rolled, slanted and stainless for about $25 bucks. It is also a clamp on, I just need to find out if it will fit over the 3 inch tips on now because it says it will fit up to 3 inch inlet.
