I was just wondering if anyone has found an off road h-pipe for the 05 yet.
I've seen a couple w/ high flow cats, but I'm looking for one that is a direct bolt on w/out cats.
Also does anyone know if the older MIL eliminators will turn off the service engine light after installing the off road h-pipe?
Thanks

Curious- what do you think the advantage of an off-road H-pipe is over the stock H-pipe?

Well, with a short answer like that, I had to look it up myself. I didn't realize that teh difference between off-road h-pipes and stock was that the off-road versions didn't have cats. It's a misleading name, as there isn't anything off-road about the H itself.

the H-pipe is called Off road cuz no cats make it illegal and not "suitable for public use"

That's what I figured.

To me the H-pipe has always just been the connector between sides. When you talk about an off-road H-pipe it becomes a much bigger product!

Stupid legal restrictions......

Why can't we just put on the long tube headers and run pipes straight out the back!!!!

We would be a minority... let all the big SUV's and rice burners dealer with the air quality.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but what does the h-pipe have to do with the cats? Does an off-road h-pipe come with pipes to connect to the headers where the cats were? How do you just take off the cats? I suppose you need some pipe to put in it's place, correct? Taking off the cats alone would do a lot for restriction and sound.
