I have a flowmaster axle back on my 05 and was wondering if anyone had a bassani O/R x pipe or similar O/R X pipe with their flowmasters and what it sounds like. Sound clips are awesome if you got em. Thanks so much!

I got an x-pipe installed last week, with no catsssssssss. The car sounds rediculous and that's putting it lightly. The first day I had it, I was just cruising around and people were giving the thumbs up and looking. It's a completely different animal. This has to be one of the best mods you can do IMO. The Flowmasters I have on is just an added bonus with this set up. I can't wait to get my headers put in.
Just be prepared, the car is LOUD.

I went with the O/R H-pipe by Pypes, wanted a deeper sound. Freek'n amazing, check out brenspeed.com for sound clips.

Eh, I wouldn't bother with a off-road X plus chambered mufflers. It'll be way too raspy and "hollow" sounding.

Just put on the Pypes off-road H to the flows axleback and it sounds INCREDIBLE. Go to brenspeed.com and get yours now!

Most people dont like an X pipe with chambered mufflers like Flowmaster..... an H pipe sounds better.

h with the flows will sound the best. I think that there are a few people here who have had the x and removed it when combo'd with the flows.

I've seen many complaints on other forums after installing an off-road x-pipe with flows on the previous generation cars. They usually ended up changing to straight through mufflers or an H-pipe, or both. I'd want to hear the combination before installing it.

I don't have any experience with Flows, but I do have an OR X with Magnaflows. It sounds really good IMO and is quiet when you want it to be. I actually am so used to the sound that I have been thinking about going with something louder. Maybe cams and Long tubes in the spring.
