Awesome...is it a low grumble? How can you define the sound? I'm looking for a low pitched, grumble..that has some loudness to it

I have the Borlas with the offroad H and it is very, very LOUD!!! I got comments from my neighbors with just the Borlas, but when I added the no-cat H pipe, they actually started to complain. I don't have any soundclips and the stang is put away for the winter, but I assure you, it sounds mean. If we don't get any snow next week, I'll pull it out of the garage and grab a clip.

Thanks man!!!

The FRPP are sweet. Nice low rumble at idle, then when you get on it, ROAR!

They are sweet, I can only imaging if I had an H-pipe on the car.

It's polished stainless steel. Check out the link...

Could very well be polished, but are the tips made by Borla? The mufflers are Borla, but the tips are Ford Racing (or at least engraved that way).

Same exact muffler. A couple members have sent e-mails to Borla asking if they are the same thing and they said yes. I can't seem to find the topic though.

Sorry to beat this to a pulp but I e-mailed Borla after posting the link above. The rep told me that all the exhausts are stainless steel and that in most cases it's a polished stainless steel tip. In the case of the part #11750 it's a chrome tip (Borla uses the same tip on all three models they make and FRPP would be the same). Steeda has a stringer muffler (part number 040-130040) that is identical to the Borla/FRPP with the exception of the tip and slightly more aggressive sound (according to Steeda). Steeda's website says that their tip is polished and it doesn't look as shiny as the Borla tip so it's probably polished stainless steel. Here's a link to a member who posted a Steeda clip...

The link is in post #282. Sorry for all the confusion!
