nice looking kit but i think I will save for a blower, I know they are safer than years ago but, I don't want to risk my motor biting the dust because of my or anyone elses fault.

Should of went with the Zex or NX kit. The Zex kit is used amongst many S197's. It is very safe and reliable. I prefer the NX kit as the solenoids are ginormous and my local tuner prefers NX. I really hope you didn't go with the NOS kit for the name. I'm not familiar with the NOS system all to well so it might be a pretty nice kit. I'm also not sure of the installation on it as well. Do some looking around and see what you come up with. A guy (FredTT) on Mustangforums.com made a pretty sweet write up on nitrous. Go check it out...

Theres nothing wrong with NOS kits, they have been in the game for a very long time, however the ZEX kit is by far the safest and has an "Active Fuel Control" which adjusts the nitrous and fuel so you don't run too rich or lean. I wonder how may people stay away from ZEX kits just because theyre purple :P

aw, you guys are makin me feel uneasy about my choice
i really don't like the NOS name, i get a lot of crap about it from my friends already (ricer!)
but i went with the Holley Nos kit, because I got a good deal on it.

now, can someone answer my questions about installation?
can i do it myself at home and get it tuned later?
how much should the tune cost?
and if i were to get a shop to install it, what's a reasonable estimate?

thanks.

Ok gurus,

I got dyno'd at 308 RWHP. Running Bama 93 torque and JLT CAI. LT headers. I cannot decide between a 75 hp or 100 shot. My FWHP should be around 365, so a 100 fwhp shot would put me around450-460. That should be fine for a stock internals????

You got a good deal on it so thats good. Like I mentioned in my posts earlier, I'm not all that familiar with the NOS kit but the Zex kit is amazingly really easy to install. Contact some supporting vendors and see what they would install for. Just remember to have fun with it bro and don't listen to your friends...Ricer...it's a form of forced induction and they can pretty much blow you when you crap all over their cars when you get the nitrous installed!!

Yeah you'll be plenty fine on the stock internals.
