Nitrous question/problem

At the track today my car was still doing it's hiccup thing. I know it's not air in the bottle now. What it's doing is when I'm in 3rd and 4th about 4500 rpms it kind of stops pulling for a second and my fuel pressure guage maxes out for a second then it goes back to normal and keeps pulling. Is the guage maxing out because it's seeing air in the fuel rail because of a loss of fuel pressure? Or is something else wrong?

first, what do you mean by maxing out your fuel pressure? Is this a high point of PSI on the gauge, if so, what is it?

You may be experiencing detonation... how much of a shot and how much total timing? Are you running colder plugs?

These are important things to share when trying to pin point your issue.

It could be your clutch slipping. On the Dyno I pulled right up to 5,000 and then thats it,wouldnt go no further. On the ride home on the highway i hit the juice and again at 5,000 it stopped pulling and then would pull again. Then I would smell clutch.

I've got a centerforce dual friction and I'm not smelling clutch so I don't think that's it. My guage is at about 39 psi at WOT and then it jumps to 50 psi or so which is what it does when you unplug the sensor on the fuel rail. I'm running HTO's, 125 shot, and I've got 5 degrees out for safety sake. It pulled fine on the dynojet but on the street and strip it's doing this. I've heard dynojet's don't load the car as much as a mustang dyno or being at the track does.

How do you reset the zex box? Someone said my WOT switch might be going on and off. I don't have my instructions that came with the zex box.

since you have already tested this setup on a dyno I dont think it could be the wot switch unless you've done something since then.
