Ryan is upgrading his 05 Saleen powered GT by doing the following;

JDM stroker shortblock
-GT500 oil pump
-MMR stage 2 P&P heads w/ Manley 1mm oversized valves & Manley springs
-ARP bolts and studs
-60# Siemens Deka fuel injectors
-SCT BA-2400 mass air flow meter
-Centerforce DF clutch
-Fidanza aluminum flywheel
-Innovators West 8" crank pulley/balancer
-BGG performance 3.2" blower pulley (2.95" to follow after break in)
-Gordsford heat exchanger
-JDM tunes of course
-GT500 Throttle body w/ported intake to accomodate
-All SS braided hoses w/red-blue aluminum hose ends

Hung out today with Chad, Ryan and Nick. Ryan and Nick were doing the wrenching and I was opening beers. Chad was offering tech support. Wrenching and beers~

I would have thought that there would have been more interest in this post? Ryan is going to have about 600 HP when thing is done.

I dig it! Did he blow the engine or is he just upgrading 'cause he's got the cash? I don't mean to sound sarcastic or anything, just an honest question. It should be a great setup for sure, either way!

Well let's hope he's got the cash LOL! Most people do the build after a major mishap, that's why I was asking......

I should have my car in my possession by 10a tomorrow morning, assuming I get outta Dallas sometime today.

They should have had it running by now, it was close to go when I left at 3pm today. Pretty much just needed the throttle body, alternator, air intake and fluids to be ready to start the engine at that point.

Hey guys, We finished 99% this weekend. I had a slight mishap and broke a sensor on the passenger side head so I will have to get one from Ford. Also, my JDM tunes won't be arriving until Tuesday.
I am shooting for 15psi and around 550-575 rwhp on pump gas.
I really enjoyed all the company, we had a great time! Not to mention having 4 sweet mustangs in my backyard! I think that I caused Rich and Chad to further deplete their wallets and buy new stuff after they left.
I'll post up some updated pics later. Maybe I can talk Chad into bringing his video camera over for the startup later this week.
