I'd be interested to hear opinions on an MSD 2-step. Is it considered cheating? Also does it ever activate when you don't want it to?

Over the winter I did the BMR LCAs and they have made a big difference in stopping the awful wheel hop that I've had since I bought the car. You'll be amazed at how flimsy the OEM pieces are when you pull them out.

Yea the control arms are tempting. As far as the 2 step, I think it can only activate if the clutch and accelerator are both to the floor.

Ah I see, so basically it stops cutting gas once you begin to disengage the clutch. I was over-thinking how it activated and thought it had more logic to it

Yea I guess it's a piggy back thing. It hooks up to the coils and I'm guessing the PCM.

Some good Pro/Con discussion: http://www.mustangevolution.com/forum/f358/t298148/

And a layman's description from http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220223
Say you set the two step to 3000. Let the engine drop back to idle, depress the clutch, and rev the engine to the 3k limit. The limiter will not disengage until the clutch is fully released. It will not reactivate until you let the engine slow back to idle.

I've been looking at this instead of MSD 2-step.

Can you tweak it without using a computer? I picture a laptop flying around during a drag run

Been there, done that

Actually the passengers seat belt holds them down just right, but trying to read them while driving/racing is NOT GOOD!
