From what I can hear these two intersting noises sound like they are coming from the rear end. The ticking noise (usually makes the noise twice) almost sounds like its coming from a different place than the clunking noise is coming from. The tick from the passenger side rear and the clunk from the middle rear. It seems that both only occur while the car lunges forward or falls back hard, during hard shifts in the suspension in other words. The clunk Im a bit more worried about. Is it possible that I may have already worn out the bushing in the Upper Control Arm? I only began to notice this the day after I got back from the race track when I wasnt blasting the Shaker 1000.

I have a few more than 20 passes down the 1320 and I constantly drive hard on the street when Im not allowing a part to properly break in (410 gears). I was looking forward to upgrading the UCA anyways, its just in a hard to get to/see spot.

Is the car jeering at all or is the back end side-stepping when you shift at all. Along with Georges suggestions, it wouldn't hurt to pull the lower control arms and make sure the lca bushings are still 100%. Every company has had issues with those urathane bushings splitting or cracking apart.
When you say lunges forward, are you talking about at launch? If it's at launch, look above your upper third link on the underbody. My upper third link slams the body every time I launch. I haven't gotten to that point of prevention yet.

Dan, my lower bushings were cracked all the way through at under 6k, and no runs down the 1320 yet. I Didnt notice they were shot until the BMR's went it. A while back I commented on this as well with a similar sound. Wouldnt hurt to check the upper.

It occurs even at easy take off but not way-too-easy take offs...

By the by, I have solid bearings for my LCAs.

Thanks for the help guys.

When I was doing my burnouts towards the end of the night this past Friday, I noticed the car was kinda wheelhopping, almost like side to side.

It felt like one side would catch and then give while the other side would do the opposite.

I have the rear up on ramps so Im going to take a better look at everything in the morning.

okay, I dragged myself under the rear and took a look around at the passenger side for something that could cause a binding like "tick tick" noise from a back-front travel of the suspension.

It seems like the clearance between the sway bar and the relocation bracket is almost that of a quarter's depth.

I think this may be the cause of the noise so Im going to wrap the area in a clean white paper to see if the dirty sway bar makes contact.
