Do these mid muffler systems drone? I really want something different than the GTA's but without drone and not terribly loud. I'm old you know!

I know a guy who sells these axle back kits for 249.99, check mustangplus on ebay or you can call Joe @ mustang plus 816-483-5678 let him know you are from TMS forums!
The looks just like stingers I have heard them installed and they sound great, however I have not had the chance to ride around in a car with them installed to see how bad they drone. I would assume they would drone a bit like most other aftermarket exhaust.
I see them as a very cheap version of stingers. The quality of these mufflers is great, all 304 stainless and some beautiful double walled tips.

the picture of what looks like a mid muff system is for the SN95 stangs, they do not have the updated pics for the S197 stangs.

also if you go to youtube and do a search for mustang sss exhaust you will find several clips of this exhaust set up.

I like this video of the SSS exhaust. I always like the vids of people actually driving the car instead of just sitting there reving the engine. Thanks for the info

In all honesty, I don't know if you have tryed the stingers but they have about half the drone of stingers. Actually I don't know if I would even consider it drone. It's minimal to me. I think the pipes after the mid muffler canel out most of the drone. I forgot to add they are slightly louder than the stingers but not as loud as the SLP LM's... The only down side to this system is you'll will finding yourself driving your car more just to hear the exhaust whichs means more gas..i'm serious!

I don't think that it drones. However my wife, does think that it drones (usually at low RPMs on hills is when she complains)

I just bought a set of the SSS mufflers, and put them on my wife's 07 GT convertible this past weekend. I bought them used from a member of the MCOH at a benefit car show they were doing. I was VERY pleased with the deal that I got. He had them on his 07 and said that his wife didn't like them because they were too loud.

I am loving the sound of these mufflers. They do make a little rumble at idle, especially on a cold start with high idle, but they don't drone at highway speeds or anything above idle. They reall make a nice, almost musical, note.

I'm even considering contacting the manufacturer of the exhaust to see if they have or could make a set of mufflers that will work on my Marauder.
