Question I'n new and need your help

Hi guys & girls,

I've been reading the forums for a few months now and the proud owner of a 06 gt. My husband installed Borla cat back exhaust and a K&N cold air intake. I've been reading and it sounds like I need a chip and I don't know what kind would be the best for me, so I would appreciate any advice and thanks for giving me some good reading!

If there are any performance-oriented shops in your area, buy a handheld programmer from them. That way you can receive support relatively easily. Your have basically 2 choices- either the SCT X2 or the Diablo Predator. It seems like the SCT piece has more tuning support than the Diablo.

If there are no shops in your area, I would suggest buying a handheld from either Brenspeed or Bamachips. If you search these forums, there is LOADS of information about both.

Chris,

with that current setup, you don't necissarily need a re-tune of your computer. However, if you want even more HP gains and reduced throttle lag, then it is worth getting a handheld tuner.

I agree with using Bama chips. He is totally there for you in the future for mods and needs.

JDM may be an option, since you may be close to him. I am not so lucky. My nearest tuner is Benson NC ( 1.5 hrs away).
